Feedback board for mobile apps: feature requests beyond app store reviews

App store reviews are a poor place for feature requests: you can't merge them, ask follow-up questions or show what's planned. A feedback board gives your app's users one page to post ideas, report bugs and vote, which you can open from a settings screen or a web view. With FDBK, nobody needs an account to vote, and the roadmap shows what's coming.

How do I add a feedback board to a mobile app?

Link to your board from the app's settings or help screen, or open it in an in-app browser. The board works on phones out of the box. If your app has accounts, single sign-on can send people over already signed in.

How do I keep bug reports and ideas apart?

Every post has a type: feature, bug or improvement. Users pick one when they post, and visitors can filter the public board by it.

Will people find out when their idea ships?

On Pro, when you change a post's status or reply, the person who posted it and everyone who commented get an email, if you turn it on for the board. Everything marked done also goes to the public changelog, which has an RSS feed.

Questions

Does it work for both iOS and Android?
Yes. The board is a web page, so one board serves both, and the same link works on the web.
Can I have one board per app?
Yes. Free has one board; Pro has unlimited boards, all in one inbox.
